: Hi I have had severe tenderness and pain along one area of my rib cage. I have had a mammogram and chest xray. Both were fine. My physician thinks it might be shingles. However, there is no rash. I have had shingles many years ago. Is it possible not to get a visisble rash and still have pain.

Q : I developed a rash on the
arch of my left foot. My doctor said it was
shingles yet I never had chicken pox. I began to
experience pain after 5 days. I'm getting a second
opinion.

Q : I had Shingles about 18 months and
have now got a similar pain down the right hand
side of my body. Is it possible to catch shingles
twice and if so, does it come back even worst ?
