Q : I have a very bad pain in the left side of my head, striking pain that makes my body twitch, I have had the shingles for about 3 weeks 

Answer : Hello Frank. You have not mentioned which part of your body is affected by the shingles rash. If the rash is near your face, forehead, nose or eyes then it is possible that it may be affecting some nerves in that region causing severe pain in your head. You should consult your doctor and he can prescribe pain medication that will make you feel better.
