Q :  Is it possible to get shingles more than once in your life? I had them 13 years ago, and I really feel like I have it again. Thanks

Answer : Hello Shari. Most people who get shingles will not get the disease again, although it does recur in a few people. A second attack of shingles is rare and may signal some other medical problem. You must consult your doctor immediately if you suspect you have symptoms of shingles.
